Remove Odors from your Closet
NOK-OUT is designed to eliminate odors associated with mold and mildew, tobacco and body odors. NOK-OUT is safe to use on skin, animal fur, fabrics or other hard and porous surfaces. *
Method 1: The application of NOK-OUT to resolve odor issues in a closet may be most efficiently performed by using a vaporizer or humidifier found in drug stores. Fill the tank with a 50/50 mix of Nokout and water. Separate clothing on hangers so they are touching not all, or only lightly. Open drawers, spread clothing on shelves so air can circulate around them. Close closet door and allow to run 30 minutes to one hour. Open closet door, to permit any humidity to escape. You can promote faster drying by placing a floor fan in the closet. You may need to do this treatment twice (15 to 20 minutes) This may not be Your method of choice if your closet has no vents, and very little or no air circulation. In this instance, try method 2.
Method 2: Remove clothing from the closet, shelves, or drawers. Using a trigger spray bottle, or a pump-up garden sprayer, or the Fogmaster Jr. Sprayer; spray walls, flooring, ceiling, drawers, drawer liners, baseboard and carpet heavily with NOK-OUT. Shut the closet door for up to 15 Minutes, and allow NOK-OUT to penetrate into all of the crevices and corners of the room. While the door is closed, spray all clothing, shoes, and other garments with Nok-Out. Reopen the closet door, and using a floor fan dry the area completely. Replace clothing in the closet when it is thoroughly dry.
Nok-Out carpet cleaner may be used to remove odors from carpets by adding 16 oz. to the carpet cleaner tank . Follow manufacturer’s directions. Or, spray the carpet directly, with regular Nok-Out, taking care to let it penetrate into the backing or pad of the carpet. Use a circulating fan to quicken drying time.
NOK-OUT is non-staining, chemical-free, and water based. However, it is always prudent to test fabrics that are delicate before applying Nok-Out directly to them. Nok-Out is EPA Registered to destroy all pathogens of importance that are present in our environment. Nok-Out is hypoallergenic, non-toxic, will not harm skin, or lungs, if breathed.
