I used a black light to locate pet stains on carpet. I sprayed carpet shampoo at full strength onto stains, and then used my Rug Doctor with the carpet shampoo in 1:1 ratio on the carpet. Upon drying, black light revealed every stain to still be present and they glowed just as vividly as they did before treatment so they were not affected by the product. However the room smelled fresh. Not a repeat for me.
