The Chemistry of Nok-Out

The Chemistry of Nok-Out

Technically, Nok-Out is a mild non-hypochlorite (salty), oxidative formulation that is non-toxic, hypoallergenic and non corrosive, in recommended concentrations. Nok-Out is non-selective in its antimicrobial and deodorizing actions, and is non-staining, non-discoloring, and non-masking. The Chemical notation is CLO2

The mode of action of Nok-Out is one of progressive contact oxidation allowing the formula to oxidatively degrade organic and inorganic molecules associated with spoilage/malodor. Microbial agents associated with spoilage and malodor are inactivated through oxidative interference with respiratory and/or digestive enzymes. Such oxidative activity actually accelerate metabolic activity to a degree that depletes nutrient stores/reserves and results in depressed nutritional/respiratory activity. Nok-Out may be both microbiostatic (inhibiting microbial growth) and microbiocidal depending on the concentrations applied, the method of application and the period of exposure of the contaminants to the oxidative action(s) of the active ingredient.

NOK-Out does not mask, but is indeed, a TRUE DEODORANT which effectively eliminates the SOURCE of the malodor.

The formulation may be sprayed/applied to any candidate surface, animate or inanimate. It may be used as an additive to the liquid medium, e.g. mopping solutions, wiping solutions, cutting oils, cooling oils, humidifier reservoirs, waste waters, toilet bowls, etc. It will leave no undesirable residues as may be true with some of the false deodorants or reodorants.

Nok-Out is expressly formulated for the control of microorganisms of economic or aesthetic significance, which may be associated with odor-causation and/or spoilage. Nok-Out is EPA Registered, as a mildicide, bactericide, and viricide, with no toxic effects upon humans or animals.

Nok-Out is simply a SAFE way to eliminate environmental malodors. The concentrations of usage may be accurately determined for a given application and are available free upon request. Such prescriptive applications are based on qualitative and quantitative evaluations of the application that reduces the costs and increases the effectiveness of the product.
