Amazing! EPA Registered Nok-Out Removes Mold/Mildew Fungus and Associated Odors.

How do I get rid of mold & mildew? it's dangerous!

Buildings, clothing, furniture, carpets, homes that have suffered water damage, and where there is visible evidence of mold and mildew are dangerous to the health and well-being of individuals who are in this environment. Even before visible evidence is present, musty smelling air is our first clue that mold & mildew is present. Now is the perfect time to decontaminate and restore your home, office and belongings to a healty clean-smelling place.  Nok-Out is the perfect product to do the job!

Nok-Out is registered by the Environmental Protection Agency as a true germicide, mildicide, microbial agent that is non-toxic, safe to use, and biodegradable.  Nok-Out is a true Broad Spectrum Disinfectant and Odor Remover, with no harsh chemical smell, but with the power of the strongest disinfectant available today.  As a germicidal agent, Nok-Out is the gentle, hypoallergenic method that will destroy dangerous mold and mildew fungus, and keep the environment safe.  This job is also a preventitive for future mold issues, as Nok-Out also kills spores that migrate to other sites.  Think of it this way.  You destroy the mold at the site of the problem, but when Nok-Out is sprayed in the air, it also catches and destroys the spores (seeds for future mold growth!) that may be floating to a new site.

Always be aware that mold abatement must be treated with caution, NOT because Nok-Out is unsafe, but because mold spores may be in the air, and this could trigger allergy reactions or other dangerous health problems.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOLD & MILDEW CLEAN-UP AND REMOVAL.

  • Clean-Up should begin after the moisture source is identified, and should there be excess water, it has been completely removed.
  • Discard porous materials (ceiling tiles, sheet rock, carpeting and wood products.)
  • Bag and discard moldy items (with household trash in a separate and sealed bag)
  • Thorough dry affected areas up to 3 days. The site should be completely and totally dry before beginning the treatment process with Nok-Out.
  • Spores (mold/mildew 'seeds') are more easily released when moldy materials dry out, hence it is advisable to remove moldy items as soon as possilbe and discard them.
  • Remove as much visible mold as possible by wiping with a cloth dampened with Nok-Out. A wet-dry vacuum cleaner is helpful for this task, if the site is large. Do not brush dry mold, as it will spread, and float into the air.
  • Mold Removal in HVAC systems: Clean air ducts by spraying the filter with Nok-Out using a fogging system to reach far into the ducts. Spray into all vents as far as possible, applying or reapplying so that it covers the lining on the inside of air ducts.
  • Spray Nok-out onto Air Conditioning filters. Run the fan continuously, not on an automatic settings, for up to 24 hours. This will circulate Nok-Out throughout the interior space.
  • After 12-24 hours, 'nose' around to identify any remaining musty odors. Repeat processes as necessary.
  • For total and true disinfection, after applying Nok-Out, any residual moisture may be removed or wiped up after 10 minutes of penetration time. Or, Nok-Out may be left to air dry.

HOW CAN I PREVENT MOLD PROBLEMS IN MY HOME?

  • Inspect your home regularly for indications of indoor moisture and evidence of mold growth.
  • Stop the moisture source, if possible, and spray liberally with Nok-Out.
  • If there is standing water, remove excess water with mops, towels, or a wet vaccuum
  • Move wet items to a dry and well ventilated area or outside to expedite drying. Pull up areas of wet carpet as soon as possible. If these items are salvageable, spray them with Nok-out both before and after the drying process. Dry thoroughly after Nok-out has been used.
  • use portable fans to increas air circulation. Do NOT use the central blower if flooding has occured in any of the ducts. Do NOT use fans if mold may have aready started to grow...generally more than 48 hours after flooding.
  • Do NOT turn up the heat, or use heaters in confined areas, as higher temperatures increase the rate of mold growth.
  • If water has soaked inside the walls. It may be necessary to expose wall cavities, remove baseboards, and/or wall boards. At this point, Nok-Out should be sprayed throughtly throughout the contaminated space. Dry quickly and thoroughly before proceeding with renovations.
  • Spray Nok-out on a regular basis in areas wherev moisture is often present (bathrooms, laundry rooms, etc.)
  • If, in 12-24 hours, musty odors return, spray the air with Nok-Out, and again, spray into the Heat/AC system.
