There is no such thing as a self-cleaning towel...alas...but Nok-Out will come to your rescue!  You've probably been reading, to your dismay, that germ killers may be bad for the environment.  Many products that claim germ-killing capability have the common ingredient, triclosan.  Triclosan is an antimicrobial workhorse that has recently come under scrutiny because of potential environmental impacts.  Scientists have found that when triclosan is mixed with chlorine in tap water, it forms chloroform, which can be inhaled, or absorbed into the skin.  Other studies indicate that when exposed to sunlight, triclosan can break down into a form of dioxin.  It is not exactly known how potentially dangerous this can be for us and our family.

Nok-Out does not contain triclosan, and is a very effective way to not just eliminate musty odor, but also kill the fungus at the source.  The Environmental Protection Agency has given Nok-Out the highest rating possible for safe, non-toxic use as a mildicide in smelly towels, basements, closets, bathrooms, anywhere mold and mildew reside.  Read More:
