Eliminate Odor in your Upholstered Furniture

NOK-OUT will eliminate old and musty odors associated with Furniture that has been in storage, has been mistreated, or where furniture has absorbed mal-odors from environmental contamination such as mold/mildew, smoke and tobacco! Nok-Out must get on the SOURCE of the contamination to be perfectly effective.

• If other products have been used, this step may be necessary.  Neutralize the site of the problem by sponging on a mild baking soda solution (1 Tablespoon Baking Soda to 1 gallon clean water). 
• Use a spray bottle, or another type sprayer (click on  'Sprayers' for options) and apply liberally at the site. Remembering that a liquid will wick outwards, spray in an irregular pattern, allowing Nok-Out to penetrate into the upholstery padding.*
• Permit Nok-Out to stay in the padding up to 5 minutes before removing the solution with a suction-type uphlstery cleaning machine, or by absorbing any residual moisture with a clean, dry cloth.
• Odors will be immediately removed because Nok-Out works on contact to remove odor, but you may smell an odor again in 8-24 hours as embedded odors rise to the surface.  Should this happen, reapply Nok-Out which has been diluted with clean water by 50%.  This procedure is not always necessary, but when the problem has existed for some time, the second application may be necessary.

* It is prudent to test fabric for color-fastness before appluying Nok-Out the first time.  Dye lots differ, and while Nok-out is non-staining and non-bleaching, it is simply smart to test first in an inconspicuous place.
