Recreational Vehicles & Nok-Out

Wow! Sometimes, Musty, Moldy, OverWintering Odors are Overwhelming in my motor home! How do I Fix?

Nok-Out is NOT a cover-up, a scent, or an enzymatic deodorizer. Nok-out is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, biodegradable, non-flammable, non-staining, non-bleaching, odor free, and completely safe to use!

When opening up your Motor Home, Camper, or Recreational Vehicle for the season, and after each trip/use...try these tips for a clean-smelling, odor free, sanitized home-away-from-home.

  • Wipe down all hard surfaces with Nok-Out. You may either use a cloth that has been saturated with Nok-out, or spray and wipe clean.
  • If closets are present, empty, and spray/wipe with Nok-Out.
  • if a bathroom toilets are incorporated into the RV, spray and wipe toilet bowl, grout around the toilet, as well as the seat, top and inside the bowl. Spray and wipe the lavatory basin and countertops with Nok-Out.
  • Remove sheets, spray and wipe the matresses with nok-out. Allow to air dry before storing.
  • In the kitchen area: spray Nok-out, and allow to air dry, along with all counter-tops, sink, microwave, stovetop, and any other surface in the area.
  • Place 4-6 oz. of Nok-Out down all drains, and allow to stay in the 'trap'. Do not flush with water.
  • After each trip, if holding tanks are present, empty tank as usual, and place 4 oz of Nok-out in the tank. Allow to remain in the tank until next use.

Fabric Care:

  • Put 8-16 oz. of nok-out in laundry rinse water for all items you plan to wash.
  • Spray and wipe all washable fabric/upholstery surfaces with Nok-out. Allow to air dry completely before storing.

Mold, Musty & Mildew Issues:

  • Use Nok-Out to scrub away all signs of mildew and slime using a scrub brush. Apply to windowsills, bathroom closets, kitchen applianaces, and anywhere mildew is observed.
  • Apply Nok-Out heavily at sites of contamination. A fogger, or hand-held sprayer is perfect to reach all areas of a camper/RV where molds and mildew may be hiding. Nok-Out will kill the spores and roots that have shown themselves in black or gray spots, but it will not always remove the stain itself, especially if these places are old, or of long-standing. Use a bleaching product to remove stains, after Nok-Out has killed the fungus.

Holding Tanks:

  • Add at least 4 oz. per gallon of water in the holding tank. it is best to add prior to departure, so that mixture can splash all surfaces while driving. Maintenance every 5 days.

It's that simple, but should you have questions, call Lou at 866.551.1927, or email at lou@nokout.com. We want to help you!
