• (Q) There are two Nok-Out products...Nok-Out the Odor Eliminator, and Broad Spectrum Disinfectant Nok-Out. Which product is right for me?
• (A) Both products have a powerful odor eliminating formula, and will totally eliminate odor at the Source. Broad Spectrum Disinfectant Nok-Out is EPA Registered, and crafted to also eliminate bacteria, viruses, mold and mildew that is most often associated with the odors we are trying to remove. For simple odor removal (think smoke/tobacco issues, a microwave fire, stinky gym bags and clothing, for example), The Green Label Nok-Out, the Odor Eliminator is perfect for this job. When more power is required to prevent mold from spreading, to keep bacteria from growing, to protect your environment from all of the things we bring home from our daily lives on the job...the Yellow Label, Broad Spectrum Disinfectant Nok-Out is the product of choice. More bang from your buck!

• (Q) How does Nok-Out work?
  (A) Nok-Out converts odors by oxidation to a substance that has no odor. For best effects, Nok-Out must get to the source of the odor, meaning that it should come into direct contact with the odor source (the bad smell!)
• (Q) Does Nok-Out have an odor?
  (A) No, Nok-Out is odorless, and does not mask or cover up the odor you are eliminating. Should a faint chlorine odor persist after treatment, continue air circulation using a floor fan, or the circulation system in your car or home.
• (Q) Will Nok-Out take a urine stain out of carpet?
  (A) Nok-Out is not designed to remove stains, however, lab tests reveal that Nok-Out, in many instances, does remove stains as well as provide total odor elimination.
• (Q) Does Nok-Out get odors out of hard and porous surfaces?
  (A) Nok-Out works perfectly on any washable surface. To be most effective, it must saturate the entire source of the odor, and it must be allowed to do this job in an alkaline or neutral pH environment.
• (Q) Will Nok-Out discolor fabric?
  (A)Nok-Out is non-staining. However, it is always prudent to first apply Nok-Out to a small corner of fabric to prove it is colorfast. This is more to prove to you that there will not be a looming disaster!
• (Q) May I dilute Nok-Out?
  (A) For most applications, Nok-Out may be diluted by 50% with regular tap water, and retain effectiveness for both odor elimination and sanitizing. e-mail us for specific dilutions for specific problems.
• (Q) What is the shelf life of Nok-Out?
  (A) The Nok-Out that you purchase will be effective for one year. After this, it very slowly (no more than 01 percent per year) loses strength, and remains a powerful odor eliminator and disinfectant.

• (Q) How is Regular Nok-Out different from the Disinfectant Nok-Out? .
• (A)Nok-Out has always had amazing odor eliminating capability, and powerful sanitizing qualities. With EPA Registration behind the product, the Disinfectant Nok-Out now has the designation 'Broad Spectrum Disinfectant'. Disinfectant Nok-Out can and does eliminate odors, but it works first to disinfect, then to deodorize, when directions are followed. Regular Nok-Out will always eliminate odors, and it will also disinfect when applied as directed. The products are closely related, and should be selected, depending upon the issue that wants to be resolved.
